ALL Rental Property Owners MUST, by Arizona Law, register their rental properties with the County Recorder's Office. If the owner lives outside of Arizona, he or she must appoint an in-state statutory agent who will accept legal service on behalf of the owner. Failure to do so can result in a $1000 fine, plus and additional $100 per month until the owner complies.
We recommend going on line and registering the property. You can also check if the property is currently registered. Click on the link to go directly to the online registration form:
